The first one..
6/11/08.
Having promoted a few gigs previously, this would be the first one with Screaming Ground plastered on the poster.
The line up was Hair Traffic Control, Ndx, Buried In Pompeii and Stuck in Conflict, At the Queen Charlotte.
Firstly, it didnt go to plan with a few members of bands turning up late so we were running behind. FUN! :( All that done with though, Stuck in conflict bashed out an awesome set to a small crowd. The turnout on the whole wasnt amazing, which was a shame, but there was about 30 or so paying attendees all in all. Stuck In conflict were really good and deserved a better crowd.
Buried In Pompeii were on next and they were equally awesome. I could just watch/listen to them play for hours. Fantastic band and amazing guys.
Ndx was next (Ndx, incase you didnt know, is my own musical thing. Hence why Ndx is playing at most of the gigs.) I had "the best sound I've heard from you" (as quoted from Mister Steven Hurley of Buried In Pompeii). I thought my set was awesome and the sound was great :)
Hair Traffic Control rounded off the night in superb fashion. Good times. Alright turnout.

The Second gig...
10/12/08
The line up: Ndx, Cherry Blossom Melodies, Ten ten tackles, Harrowdown.
Venue: B2
Turnout: 70+
Things started off so well...
Apart from being stuck in the glorified air lock that the 'hand stamper' has to be in and freezing my collective testies off, things were going very well. Loads of people had turned up and Harrowdown were cracking off an awesome set. The sound is fantastic. They finish up and Ten Ten Tackles take to the stage. Another fantastic surprise (the other being the turnout!!) were how good they were! I didnt really know what to expect, but I was impressed. Even with imprompteu MC-ing by someone for the last song. Fun!
CherryblossomMelodies were next up. Unfortunately to a depleated number of people. Over half the people had left after TTT, which was horrifying! CBM still played thier hearts out and it was superb. Ndx was headlining (Not by choice, but because none of the other bands wanted to.), Playing to all of 15 people. :(
Still, I played my set with the usual vigor and had a good time. The people that stayed enjoyed themselves.

So yeah, not bad going so far. These things all take time to build up a good support of people who know that its going to be a good gig if a certain promoter if doing it. One day though.. Norwich has the talent, it just needs the people to care.
Next gig is at The Marquee on January 9th. The poster looks a lot like this:
See you there. x
